Unfair Comparison? Panamera vs. Mazdaspeed3

by Mazda in the News on December 23, 2009

Can a turbocharged Mazda3 stack up against a 500 horsepower, $90K Porsche? Probably not, but Kelley Blue Book had fun making the comparison anyway. While both cars are designed for high-performance, both are turbocharged, and both are hatchbacks, comparing the details of these cars is simply futile. As a better gauge of which car is better, just compare the two drivers instead – the elderly, pretentious know-it-all vs. the fun-loving, laid-back hipster doofus. Joking aside, the Mazdaspeed3 is a fantastic car nonetheless. It’s no Porsche, but it delivers speed, handling, and fun, like few other cars in the $20K price range can even come close to.
