The Mazda B-series pickup truck has finally met its demise. After many years on the market, the Mazda B-series has been essentially a rebadged Ford Ranger. While some may think this is a good move by Mazda and others may think it doomed sales of this truck, the 2009 model year will be the B-series’ last.
Until recently Mazda had been owned by Ford. This relationship has resulted in many components and platforms being shared, including the Ranger pickup. The B-series had been introduced in 2001 and provided competitive features, not to mention affordability says one dealer that specializes in bad credit auto loans Houston. The B-series was fuel efficiency, rugged and handled well. Customers chose between a regular cab or an extended cab. Powering the B-series was a 143 horsepower 2.3-liter four cylinder engine. A 4.0 liter V6 also was also available which produces 207 horsepower and 238 lb ft of toque.

Fuel efficiency has attracted plenty of buyers to the Mazda B-series truck according to Saint Louis Car Loans. The 2WD model with the four cylinder engine gets 21 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway when equipped with the manual transmission. The interior is certainly lackluster, but it offered plenty of standard features include dual airbags, tire pressure monitoring system, and air conditions. The price for the Mazda B-series begins at $16,780.
Despite having beena well rounded pickup, the Mazda B-series has fallen behind its import competition. Power, dimensions, and features, could also be improved to make it more competitive with the trucks from Nissan, Toyota, others in this segment admits Mazda Service Calgary. That being said, the B-series isn’t a bad truck and still has plenty to offer those that want a rugged and affordable pickup.
